Amazing, high quality food in a clean, comfortable environment. Our party of 5 had a great time. The chips were crispy and fresh and the salsa was the best I've had in a restaurant. Loved the shrimp and grits. And our server Andy was very friendly and attentive.
Love this restaurant, we go at least once a week! Their food and drinks are so good!! They have a great patio when the weather is nice. I’ve met the owners and they are the sweetest couple, they treat you like family! This place is the best!
A nice surprise as we were in the area searching for dinner options and took a chance. Everything was excellent. Salsa was amazing. We had the dip sampler, tacos and carnitas fajitas.
Visited for dinner and had...a sopapilla of course. Location is tucked into a shopping center near the center of Franklin. Walked in around 6 on a Saturday and didn't have to wait for a table. Did notice they take reservations via Resy. Food was excellent. Chicken sopapilla, red sauce, and black beans all were really good. I haven't had many sopapillas, but this place has my current favorite.
We have been coming here since they first opened and we have always loved it bite after savory bite! They have the best hatch pepper salsa that’s gotta little bit of kick to it, made fresh in house. The dos tacos either baja fish (mahi-mahi), the original which is a type of (pot roast braised beef) with a fresh fried taco shell or the (shrimp and bacon) is the way we go. They also have a happy hour but you have to order at the bar or from the high top chairs.
Excellent service and a cozy atmosphere. The chipotle honey salad was super fresh and the flavors mixed well. The brisket quesadillas were stuffed with flavorful and tender brisket. That was better brisket than some major bbq restaurants I have visited. Full bar available. Excellent all around experience.
Let me start by saying I’m not very quick to give out five star reviews often, but I was compelled to do so for our Experience earlier this week. Around 7 PM we showed up with a group of about 20 people, a big portion of that being kids after a youth sports game. The manager, Ryan, made us feel incredibly welcome even though I know they had a difficult task ahead of them. He communicated well and set us up in a great spot. I even watched as he proactively asked an elderly couple if they would like to move because a lot of kids were about to be sitting next to them. He proceeded to help them relocate to a quieter area of the restaurant to enjoy their meal. Jonah And Lori For our servers and did a fantastic job. Similar to Ryan, they both made us feel extremely welcome and that we were no burden to them at all, And they were excited for us to be there. Ryan checked on us throughout the evening to ensure that everything was going smoothly. The food matched the service and was wonderful and everyone enjoyed their dish. We will bring our crew back and ensure that we also continue to eat here regularly to Support such a fantastic staff.
Always love our dining at Sopapilla’s. The food is always amazing. I personally love the Fajita Steak Quesadilla and can’t seem to get away from it on the menu haha. Today we were pushed to review after the wonderful service we received from Jonah. He was quick, kind and incredibly attentive. Fantastic food met with even better service. Highly recommend!
My husband and I moved to Tennessee from Colorado, and if you know… you know how hard it is to find truly authentic Mexican food here—especially real green chili. We’ve been searching for years, and this place is the real deal. From the moment we saw Hatch green chili on the menu (and in actual photos!), we knew this wasn’t the usual “tomatillo sauce passed off as green chili.” The food is fresh, authentic, and full of the flavors we’ve missed so much since leaving Colorado. The green chili is incredible—exactly what we grew up with. If you’re a Colorado or Southwest transplant, or just someone looking for genuinely amazing Mexican food, this place is a must. We’re so excited to finally have a go-to spot in Tennessee and will absolutely be spreading the word!
Our family stopped in for lunch on Father’s Day and had a wonderful time. Audrey was our server, and was very attentive and considerate. The drinks, food, and sopapillas at the end of our meal were beautiful and delicious! And yes, the camera must eat first here. The charred romaine wedge and street tacos were especially good. The atmosphere was also great. Whoever had their playlist going during lunch has very good music taste (I hear those Vampire Weekend/Dayglow/Fleetwood Mac back-to-backs)!
